Tammy Plunkett: Guest Speaker

Certified Professional Co-Active Coach & author

Tammy Plunkett left her career as a registered nurse to stay home and raise her four children. As the children grew more independent she returned to her first love—writing. Tammy has been published in Today's Parent and on Huffington Post and her literary agent is currently shopping her memoir about raising a transgender child. After all four of her children identified as LGBTQ in some way, Tammy became a member of the Airdrie Pride Executive Board and an advocate for the community. As a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach, she empowers others to connect to their story and use it to fuel their writing, their business, and their lives.

Melanie Taylor: Guest Speaker

Founder of Life of Wellness, Transformational Coach, Yoga Therapist, Thai Massage Therapist, Yoga Teacher Trainer to come.

As a child, Melanie felt like she was the reason everyone around her was in pain... so she tried really hard to be perfect in every way. That led to constant judgment, burnout, and disconnection from her body. She experienced anxiety, depression, pain, and self-loathing and she knows how to overcome and be free from the suffering they bring.

Her journey and the journey she takes her students and clients on is one of reclaiming ourselves and awakening our inner strength. Together you’ll discover how to come back home to our bodies in gentle, loving, ways that fit for each of us uniquely. She is a stand for waging peace in the war on our bodies, minds, and souls. And she is here for you.
